When you have your scores and determine why you failed, work on developing a new strategy. If something worked, by all means, keep that going. But for what did not work, do not repeat your mistakes.
If your essays were weak, get in a good, solid writing course, and work on your knowledge of the substantive law. Were your MBEs also weak? If so, that definitely suggests work is needed mastering the legal rules and your ability to apply them. Did you fall short of the mark on performance tests? Enroll in a reliable supplemental performance test course. (What if your MBEs were strong, but essays weak ---well, maybe your knowledge is solid, but your writing skills need work.)
Consider getting a formal bar exam analysis, so a law professor can review your work and assess where you need to improve, in each area.
And, get your game plan in order. Change or adapt your bar review program, if that did not work. Change or adapt your study schedule if that needs modification. If you didn't put in enough time, put in more this time around. If it wasn't the quantity but quality of studying, make the necessary changes there.
You CAN do it. The key is now to use the knowledge gained from experience and develop the pathway to success.
